When you study off-campus on an approved program, you will be charged the actual tuition and program fee assessed by the program you have chosen, and it will be billed through your CC student account. You can find this information on the program's website, as it varies by program, school, and country.

例如, if 科罗拉多大学 grants and scholarships typically provide 50% of a student's total cost of attendance at CC, the CC grants and scholarships will continue to provide the same proportion toward the revised actual cost of attendance of any program that costs less or the same as the same term of study at CC. If the off-campus program costs more than the CC does, then the College will not provide more than it would have to attend CC for that same academic duration.

All billing and payment for off-campus study are handled through your CC Student Account, with the exception of the initial confirmation deposit. 学生 are responsible for paying any confirmation deposit directly to the program (if this is a burden, and you receive financial aid from 科罗拉多大学, check with your CC 金融援助 advisor for options). Following the initial confirmation deposit, the tuition and program fee for your semester or year off-campus will be billed through your student account at CC, in accordance with the actual costs of the program. All CC programs and exchanges are billed CC tuition costs.

Administrative Fee for Off-Campus Study

When students study off-campus on Approved (third-party) programs, they are not paying any 科罗拉多大学 tuition, 然而, many offices still provide support and services to these students. In order to defray some of the costs of these services, students studying abroad on Approved programs will be assessed a $300 administrative fee, 记在学生的账户上.

This tuition structure is designed to make off-campus study available to all our undergraduates and is similar to the policy of many selective liberal arts colleges.

Under the 家庭学校学费政策, students will pay the same tuition cost for the semester, whether studying at 科罗拉多大学 or off-campus. The program fee (sometimes called room & board) of the program they choose will be assessed to their CC student account instead of 科罗拉多大学 room and board. Off-campus study program fees vary by program and may include room and board, 实地考察旅行, 报名费, 等. Check with your program for details about this.

学生 with financial aid approved to participate in off-campus study will continue to be eligible for this support, in the same proportion of coverage that they receive while studying on campus at 科罗拉多大学. Financial aid is also often available directly from our off-campus study partners in the form of merit and need-based scholarships, and students should explore all these options well in advance, 以及申请 outside scholarships for study abroad.
